Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa (TROT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to improve communication and problem solving while fostering productive family relationships within the low income, least served members of our community through equine-assisted therapeutic activities.
At Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa (TROT), our main goal is to build strong relationships, promote positive healthy behavior, and facilitate learning for those with cognitive challenges through equine-assisted growth and learning activities.
We envision being able to expand our services into the community at large in order to provide even more of a positive impact.
We are currently trying to build a roof over our riding arena to almost double the amount of families we serve and decrease the number of cancelled sessions each year due to inclement weather. To learn more about how you can be a part of this project, visit our Raise the Roof for TROT campaign page!
